This agreement includes purchases between a private person, hereinafter referred to as the purchaser, and Bø Sommarland. The customer is obliged to familiarize himself with Bø Sommarland’s terms and conditions before completing the order.

1 CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY

Before making a final order, you should read and familiarize yourself with important information about the product in question. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the purchase is in accordance with one’s own wishes.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the information in the confirmation is in accordance with the order.

When completing the purchase, the buyer agrees to follow Bø Sommarland’s park regulations, as well as to make everyone in the entourage aware of the current regulations. Violation of guidelines and regulations can lead to expulsion from the park without refund.

2 TERMS FOR BOOKING AT SOMMARLAND.NO

Bø Sommarland AS is technically responsible for orders made on sommarland.no. All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner and include all taxes.

The purchaser must be 18 years old to shop at sommarland.no. Anyone who buys tickets for children under the age of 18 is responsible for these. Children under the age of 14 can only visit the park accompanied by an adult.

The customer is responsible for providing correct information, including correctly spelled name, address, email address or telephone number. In the opposite case, the customer may be charged for costs that may arise because of errors/corrections of these.

There is no discounted price on the ticket when you arrive in the afternoon or in bad weather.

Bø Sommarland reserves the right to close attractions and activities in whole or in part because of conditions that do not make it justifiable to stay open. In the event of any closure of activities in the park or shortening of the opening hours, the ticket will not be refunded. There is also no discounted price on the ticket.

We reserve the right to make printing errors and any changes in price due to increased public taxes.

In other respects, Norwegian laws and regulations apply.

3 PAYMENT AND SECURITY

3.1 Secure payment
Payment is by credit or debit card. Personal and user account information in the payment solution is encrypted so that no one can misuse it. The banks’ approved systems are used for our payment transactions.

Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard or Maestro.

Credit card transactions take place on a separately secured server with full encryption of all credit card information. Bø Sommarland cooperates with Nets to maintain a secure payment solution. This solution meets all of Net’s requirements for secure payment solutions. Your credit card information will not be made available to other businesses or organizations.

3.2 Fees and payment
Fees that are in addition to the ticket price can vary depending on which event it applies to, ticket price and which payment method is chosen. Upon payment, information will be provided about fees that accrue.

Tickets are paid in full when booking. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.

3.3 Invalid order

The order has not been completed and is not valid in the following cases:

  • The customer does not receive an e-mail with a receipt or booking confirmation/booking number and detailed information about what they wanted to order.
  • The card payment is interrupted for various reasons and the payment fails.
  • The payment is not completed completely or correctly, and the amount is not deducted from the customer’s account. Thus, the preliminary shopping cart/reservation is canceled after a short time.

The customer must ensure that they can be reached at the e-mail address provided when registering. The purchaser is responsible for taking care of the e-mail confirmation.

4 ABOUT THE TICKET AND THE VALIDITY OF THE TICKET

All guests must have a valid entrance ticket on the day of the visit. Guests under 95 cm have free admission and as a general rule do not have their own ticket.

The customer is responsible for purchasing a ticket of the correct category (at age or height limit) at the time of visit.

4.1 Validity

Entrance tickets to Bø Sommarland are valid on the date (s) the customer has chosen in their order. Open tickets are valid this season and within current opening hours. The validity of the ticket is listed on the ticket.

The two-day tickets apply to the stated date and the following day. “Day2 ticket” is a valid optional day in the current season, unless otherwise stated in the online store at the time of purchase.

4.2 Order confirmation

Order confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address used when ordering. Take care of the order confirmation, as this is valid as a receipt.

No email confirmation received?

If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation immediately after ordering, check if this may have been placed in the junk mail/spam filter inbox.

4.3 The ticket

The customer receives the entrance ticket in two forms:

(1) PDF file by email. This can be displayed digitally on the telephone or printed on white paper. There is a unique code on each ticket and everyone must be scanned upon arrival at the park.

(2) QR code on SMS. This can be viewed digitally on the phone and contains all the tickets in the purchase. This is unique and can only be validated once and applies to all tickets in the purchase.

4.4 Abuse
It is important that the customer treats the online ticket as a security and ensures that it is not copied or printed several times. If Bø Sommarland has reason to believe that there has been abuse/forgery such as copying tickets or the like, the customer may be asked to identify themselves.

We therefore ask that you bring your payment card or other valid identification with a photo to the park. The entrance ticket is personal, and one entrance ticket cannot be used by several people.

Although it is possible to print a new ticket, you may be denied entry to the park if someone else has entered your ticket number before you. The ticket thus works the number of times defined for the ticket – and every attempt to misuse/falsify tickets is considered forgery and will be reported to the police.

If you have received a ticket marked “Invitation”, we point out that the ticket cannot be resold as this is a free ticket. Misuse may result in cancellation of the ticket.

5 RIGHTS OF WITHDRAWAL AND FORCE MAJEURE

When buying tickets on the internet, you have no right of withdrawal, cf. The Right of Withdrawal Act §22 letter m. It is stated here that the right of withdrawal does not apply to agreements on «… services related to leisure activities when the agreement stipulates a specific date or a specific time period for the performance of such services». Services provided at a specific time or within a specific time period apply to all our tickets and products. In such cases, please refer to the applicable cancellation policy.

5.1 Force majeure
Bø Sommarland is not responsible for unsatisfactory conditions or closed facilities as a result of acts of war, natural disasters, national or regional strikes, disease outbreaks, pandemics, water or energy supply disruptions, fires or other similar incidents that no party involved could foresee or influence. Bø Sommarland is not liable for reimbursement or compensation claims for other financial losses that arise as a result of force majeure incidents or cancellations due to this. This means that if an event is canceled at Force Majeure, the buyer will not be refunded for the expenses he has had, costs for tickets and various packages. Each party must bear its loss.

6 CANCELLATION RULES

The buyer is responsible for checking his own order confirmation (which is sent by email) and cancelling himself within 24 hours if something is not correct.

The buyer can cancel purchased online tickets and season tickets within 24 hours of the time of purchase if they have not already been used.

6.1 Exceptions

The buyer can not cancel tickets on the same day as the entrance ticket applies. This means that if you have bought an entrance ticket the day before (the day of purchase), ie the day before you want to go to Bø Sommarland, you cannot cancel the day after (the day of use), even if it is within 24 hours.

Apart from this, there is no cancellation or refund.

6.2 Incorrect information

Bø Sommarland reserves the right to make errors in prices, descriptions of services that may occur.

If there have been typing or printing errors of significant size on the part of Bø Sommarland, in advertisements and the like. and / or in the online booking that is of significant difference from the normal retail price, Bø Sommarland may unilaterally change, delete, or reject orders. If a product turns out to be sold out, but still available (overbooking) on sommarland.no, Bø Sommarland can delete or reject the order. This applies even if the customer has received an order confirmation or similar.

However, such errors must be corrected within a reasonable time after the error is discovered.

7 INSURANCE

The customer is responsible for own, relevant insurance that applies to travel and booking / rental conditions, including travel and leisure insurance (incl. Cancellation insurance) and travel liability insurance.
